Karthikeya Faces Failure Again

Karthikeya, a young hero, rose to prominence following the success of his 2018 film RX100. However, that is only his most successful film to date. Following RX100, Karthikeya produced a slew of films, all of which were box office flops.

He was cast as the antagonist in the 2019 film Gang Leader. Even for the 90 ML actor, it was a disappointing venture.

 

Karthikeya recently debuted in Tamil cinema as an antagonist in Ajith's big-budget film Valimai.

 

Valimai was released in theatres last Friday, amid high expectations. Karthikeya's performance in the film has wowed audiences. For the role, he put in a lot of effort and underwent a massive physical transformation.

 

In fact, in a few scenes, Karthikeya outshone Ajith. As an actor, that is a huge accomplishment. But, once again, his efforts were for naught.

 

Valimai has received generally negative feedback. Though it may end up being an average box office success in Tamil Nadu, it has already become a flop in other languages.
