Sara and Kartik were seen together on screen in Love Aj Kal 2. Though the film didn't so that great but it bought the actors closers and there were rumours of them dating. During the promotion of the film, we could see them immensely in love with each other. But neither of the two actors ever confirmed their relationship. But recently, on Koffee with Karan 7, Sara admitted dating Kartik infront of KJo. Kartik was recently confronted for lying about his relationship and he gave an answer to it. 

He has always said that he is always in love with his work and doesn't have time for relationships.  In an interview he was asked about the Koffee with Karan episdoe to with Kartik gave a vague answer, and replied, “Mai pichle sava saal se single hoon, baaki mujhe kuch nahi pataa." “I have been single for the past 1 year. I am not reducing the time period slowly...it just was not precise." When further asked if his work is his relationship now, he clarified, “Aisa nahi hai, lekin I am single. That’s about it.” 

She finally accepted that she dated Kartik. A season earlier, when she came on the couch with Saif she manifested that she wanted to date Kartik Aryan. 

On work front, both Sara and Kartik are doing real good and have a lot of projects in the line. Sara has Gaslight with Vikrant Massey. Kartik hasShehzada, Freddy, Captain India, and Satyaprem Ki Katha.
