Netflix Decides against Releasing Abbas Mustan's Penthouse

NETFLIX has decided to NOT release ABBAS MUSTAN's next release 'PENTHOUSE' and has backed out of that project. The film, which is a remake of a Belgian film 'THE LOFT' is a WHODUNIT MYSTERY, which as per Netflix executives, didnt shape up well to live up to the global standards of NETFLIX and has removed the film from the lineup. Other than that, NETFLIX has also pulled out of streaming a HORROR COMEDY to be produced by a prominent Hindi film producer and is currently on a rampage to downsize and restructure its lineup to compete in the International Market with their Indian originals as well.
