Despite the Besharam Rang controversy, the Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan starrer are getting a resounding response in the booking. In the midst of it all, self-described critic KRK has made some spectacular statements, leaving followers in shock.

They said that producers had requested payment for all reviewers and influencers. I requested that they give me $1Cr. When they learned this, they were horrified. They said that they only paid each person up to two lakh rupees.

The box office booking statistics show that Pathaan doesn't require a purpose to do compensated reviews, making the information difficult to believe. The movie is expecting a massive opening after adding 15 crores to its coffers already. Nevertheless of what the critics and influencers say, word-of-mouth will be crucial.
