Propaganda files do not work," one person responded, while another stated that "#TheKashmirFiles is being used as a tool to dent #Pathan.. nafrat ki aandhi Chal Rahi hai Apni Bhi patang udalo, aur yeh tou opportunist hai... #PathanDekhegaHindustan." While it is necessary to tell the story of the Kashmir Pandits' exodus from the Valley, filmmakers must uphold a certain standard of ethics to avoid the phenomenon of enhanced victimization and villainization known as "The Cognate," said the same user in a subsequent tweet.
