Adipurush, which stars Kriti Sanon as Sita, Prabhas as Lord Ram and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh was all set to release in January 2023. But it was then pushed to the summer of 2023. The film will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. However, now, the makers of the mythological movie have changed the release date.

The film will now be released on 16 June 2023 as it recieved a lot of criticism for the VFX for Saif's role. The makers have planned to change and work on the VFX again. The announced by the makers said, "Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotions to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our sanskriti and history. In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. Adipurush will now release on June 16th, 2023.
