Ranveer Singh on 83 Box Office Failure

Ranveer Singh is known in Bollywood for his energy, his talent, and his happy-go-lucky personality. He is a great actor who has done many versatile roles so far and has delivered quite a few amazing movies. His last release, 83, was loved by the audience all over the world. However, 83 did not make much profit at the box office. Many a time, Bollywood movies are loved by the audience who watch them, but ultimately they turn out to not do much well at the box office. 83 is one such movie.

The movie 83 was dedicated to the life of Indian cricketer Kapil Dev. Ranveer played the role of Kapil Dev and his performance was absolutely jaw-dropping. It was quite disheartening to see that the movie did not make as much buzz as everyone expected it to. However, Ranveer opened up about his feelings regarding the film, and he said he was content with the response. The actor said that it turned out to be one of his most loved performances even though the box office numbers did not make justice to the hard work that went behind making the film.

He called it a case of bad timing. Ranveer also pointed out that one cannot ignore the fact that the movie earned around Rs.200 crore during a pandemic, which is a great victory in itself. Yes, we agree that had the film been released during a better time, it would have set records at the box office.
