Shahid and Mrunal's Jersey was supposed to be releasing on 14 April 2022 clashing with Yash's KGF: Chapter 2. But the makers have pushed the release and will release on April 22. The producer of the film, Aman Gill said “As a team, we have put our blood sweat and tears into ‘Jersey’ and would like our beloved film to reach all of you in the widest possible way. Jersey will now release on 22nd April.”

Jersey is a remake of a Telugu film with the same name. Shahid here plays the role of a former cricketer who comes back to the game for his son's wish, Mrunal plays the role of his love. 

The movie was first supposed to be releasing on 28 August 2020. But due to the Covid-19 restrictions it was postponed. Later, the release was finalised for 31 Dec 2021 but was again postponed. We hope we can watch the film on 22 April.
