Shahid Kapoor To Star In 'Mumbai Police'

SHAHID KAPOOR will step into the role played by PRITHVIRAJ SUKUMARAN in the Hindi Remake of Malayalam film 'MUMBAI POLICE' which will be directed by ROSSHAN ANDRREWS, who also wrote and directed the Malayalam film as well and will be produced by SIDDHARTH ROY KAPUR 

SHAHID will play the role of a Brash, Hot Headed POLICE OFFICER who is suffering from a PARTIAL MEMORY LOSS due to an accident and has to retrace the memories of his past in order to solve a Criminal case which was being probed by him before the accident.

The director is currently working on the final draft of the script with a team of writers and the actor will sign the film by Next Month post the narration of the final draft. He will start shooting for this film after wrapping up his ROBOT ROM-COM with KRITI SANON which will go on floors in NOVEMBER 2022

The makers are currently in talks with various other actors to play the role of Officers played by RAHMAN and JAYASURIYA in the original and an Actress from the SOUTHERN CINEMA is being in talks to star opposite SHAHID in this film.
