Sharmila Tagore Returns to Acting After 11 Years with Gulmohar!

Sharmila Tagore, one of the most talented, well-known, and versatile Bollywood actresses of the '70s is all set to make a comeback on the big screen after more than a decade! Yes, the beautiful actress has finally decided to make her grand comeback through Gulmohar. She was last seen in the movie Break Ke Baad in the year 2010, which also starred Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and actor Imran Khan. This was 11 years back, and now the veteran actress is ready to be a part of the film world again with Gulmohar, under the direction of Rahul Chittella.

Gulmohar includes many other talented actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Suraj Sharma, Amol Palekar, and Simran Rishi Bagga. The movie will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar, which is one of the most popular OTT platforms in the country. The movie is set to be released in the month of August this year. Sharmila Tagore expressed how thrilled she is to be a part of the team. She shared that she agreed immediately when she heard of the script, and she feels that Gulmohar is a beautiful family drama that can be enjoyed by everyone. 

The story of Gulmohar revolves around the Batra family, that have stayed in their ancestral house for 34 years, from generation to generation. While the family is set to move out of this house, they re-discover their bond with each other. Overall, it is a very sweet and beautiful story and we are all looking forward to it!
