Shekar Kapur To Develop Amish Tripathi's Shiva Trilogy With Suparn Varma

SHEKHAR KAPUR has been brought on board to develop the series adaptation of Amish Tripathi's 'THE SHIVA TRILOGY' and will kickstart it with the first part - 'THE IMMORTALS OF MELUHA'.
Titled 'SHIVA', the show will be co-written by SUPARN S VARMA (The Family Man). SUPARN will also serve as showrunner and will direct episodes along with KAPUR. AMISH TRIPATHI will also join the creative team and the show will be backed by an international studio - INTERNATIONAL ART MACHINE (Roy Price and Karishma Naina Sharma).
Earlier, KARAN JOHAR had acquired the rights of the trilogy adaptation which got passed over to SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI, and now SHEKHAR KAPUR has been finalized along with SUPARN S VARMA to finally make this larger than life adaptation a reality.
