Mamaearth was founded by Ghazal Alagh and Varun Alagh in 2016. The headquarters of the company is in Gurugram, India which offers natural and toxic free cosmetic products online. It is the first Asian Brand to be certified as “MADE SAFE”. Mamaearth offers baby products that meet all the safety regulations that are set up by International Standards. The products also come in hygienic packaging with the benefits of nature in the country.

The mission of the company is to provide chemical free products to every single baby in the country. The company now serves babies, moms, dads, grandparents and products for everyone else. Before purchasing any baby product, Ghazal used to check every single ingredient in the product and this made her more cautious before purchasing any product. The duo started importing products from US for toxic free and reliable products but it proved more expensive and inconvenient. So, after this they decided to make baby products more affordable and safer.
