is an Indian actor and model who primarily appears in Telugu films, with a few appearances in Hindi and Tamil. She is a SIIMA Award recipient. At the Miss Universe India 2010 pageant, she finished as the second runner-up. She made her debut in Mysskin's Mugamoodi, a Tamil film directed by Mysskin (2012). Oka Laila Kosam, in which she co-starred with Naga Chaitanya, was her Telugu debut (2014). She made her Bollywood debut in Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro in 2016, alongside Hrithik Roshan.

She went on to play the lead in several successful films, including Duvvada Jagannadham (2017), Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018), Maharshi (2019), Housefull 4 (2019), and Ala Vaikunta Puram (2019). (2020).
Despite winning the Miss India Talented 2009 title, Hegde was eliminated in an early round of Miss India 2009 competition. She reapplied the following year and finished as the second runner-up in the Miss Universe India 2010 competition, as well as Miss India South Glamorous Hair 2010.
She made her acting debut in Mysskin's Tamil superhero film Mugamoodi (2012), opposite Jiiva, as Shakthi, a fun-loving girl who inspires the male lead to change his perspective on society. She was chosen after Mysskin saw still photographs of her pageant success, and Hegde assisted in the practice of Tamil dialogue for the film by writing and memorizing words in English, stating the similarities between Tamil and English were significant.
Before its release, the film was met with high expectations due to the novel theme of a superhero in Tamil films, and it had a successful box office opening in August 2012. However, the film received mixed to negative reviews from critics, stifling its progress, and the film ended up being a commercial failure. Hegde's performance was also met with mixed reactions, with one critic from Sify.com claiming that she "disappoints," while another from The Hindu stated that "she doesn't have much scope for talent display."At the 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards, she was nominated for Best Tamil Female Debut Actress, but she was defeated by Lakshmi Menon.
