Aquatic Plants are the plants which grow in water. They are also known as Hydrophytes or macrophytes. They generally feed and grow on water. The plants require constant care and fertilization. There are many types of aquatic plants such as:

Emergent Plants: The plants grow in water but emerge out as they develop. The vegetative parts of the plants are partially present in air.

Submerged Plants: These plants grow totally underwater.

Floating Plants: There are two types of floating plants. One type of plant is that where only vegetative parts float in water whereas the other type is where the whole plant independently grow in water.

Money plant is the easiest way to grow an indoor aquatic plant. The plant is quite hardy and can thrive even in neglect. It is believed that the plant is a good luck charm and brings wealth and prosperity.
