Toxic Masculinity of KGF

Have you watched the film KGF and KGF 2? Well, the film has a massive fan following and if you haven't watched the film yet, you are missing out on one of the greatest creations of the movie industry.

KGF franchise has done record business across India but everyone has noticed the toxic masculinity in the movie which is reminiscent of Bollywood action movies in the 80's. Yash,The hero of the movie eve teases the heroine on both KGF 1 & 2. In KGF 2 Yash's characters says that he has kept the heroine in his mansion for his "entertainment". He then sends her wardrobe full of traditional clothes! It openly gives credence to the traditional & orthodox belief that the man can dictate what the woman wears. Eve teasing is looked upon as an accepted form of flirting. It is shocking how the makers of the movie are oblivious to the impact on the minds of the youth & society at large by portraying heroes in this fashion.

What are your views on the above? Though the film is based on older views and practices, do you think it is the right way to showcase such a message to the youth?
