The movie is touted to be a rom-com story which is about a married couple struggling to get a new house through PM Awas Yojana. While a little information is known, the actor has already collaborated with the director for the next project. The next project for the actor-director team is a big-budget warrior drama.
According to reports, Laxman Utekar’s upcoming movie is a historical movie based on the life of Sambhaji Raje and Vicky Kaushal is said to play the lead role. For a long time, the director has been planning to make a movie on the second Chatrapati of the Maratha Empire. Finally, he assembled a team of top-notch creative and technical talents. Having worked on the film for the last six months, it is an ambitious project of the filmmaker and he is all set to bring it to life. He is leaving no stone unturned in order to make it as grand as possible.
Vicky Kaushal will be playing the role of warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who was the Maratha empire's founder. According to reports, the writing is completed, and the filmmaker is currently neck-deep in pre-production with the team. Dinesh Vijan has given his full support and sanctioned a large budget to make this film a true visual spectacle.
Vicky will begin filming for the larger-than-life historical movie after he wraps Meghna Gulzar's directorial Sam Bahadur.
