Was Ira Khan Wrong In Wearing A Bikini? 

Ira Khan recently celebrated her 25th birthday with father Aamir Khan, mother Reena Dutta, little brother Azad and Aamir's ex-wife Kiran Rao. She celebrated her birthday followed by a pool party which was also attended by her boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare. 

It seemed Ira was having a great time bouncing on the gaint bouncy house and cutting the cake. However, like always it seems that the internet can't see the celebrities having fun and enjoying themselve. They have a constant urge of trolling them. 

So, this made them take to the internet and troll Ira for wearing a bikini around her father, who himself was wearing swimming trunks, as one would at a pool party. What shall people wear to a pool party if not this? We think the trolls really want Ira to wear a coat, muffler and boats to a pool party. 

To the trolls singer Sona Mohapatra took to Instagram to write, "All the people outraging about Ira Khan's choice of birthday attire or linking it to what #AamirKhan said, did or didn't in the past please note; she is 25, a free, thinking, adult woman, is exercising her life choices. Doesn't need her dad's approval or yours. Buzz off. Shove your politics where the sun don't shine..." 

Isn't a bikini perfect to wear around a swimming pool. People need to check themselves before commenting on others. We often hear people say 'women cry foul about the male gaze' and the same people say that women should cover up around men, even family members. Doesn't this mean men sexualise all women, even their family members and cannot control themselves unless the women are fully covered? Does all of this really make sense? 

India is a free country, and not just Ira Khan but all the citizens have the right to wear whatever they want.
