Was Stree A Fluke For Rajkumar Rao?

Raj Kumar Rao is a talented and very versatile actor but in spite of all his talent, his box office record is HORRID. He only has one hit in his entire career-Stree. He did phenomenal work in the movie but critics believe that all credit cannot be given to him because of his post three back-to-back flops like Shimla Mirchi, Ruhi, Love Sonia, Chittagong, Shahid, etc. 

Stree was not only a hit but a great blockbuster and crossed 100+ crore and entered in 100 crores club and was a sleeper hit but Raj Kumar has not been able to recreate that magic again in the film industry. His movies opened around one to two crores on average and hardly crosses 60 crores.

Meanwhile, Ayusmann Khurana and Vicky Kaushal who started their career in the same reign of time have already gone far beyond their careers and has achieved much more than what Raj Kumar has now. Irish man became famous for his unique serious storyline while Vicky got an appointment in his career with blockbuster URI, but Rajkumar despite giving Stree a hit couldn’t make his magic stay on.

What I think is Rajkumar Rao is a versatile actor, he easily adopts any character or role, and he’ll surely be able to make his unique position in Bollywood. what he needs the most is the identification and support from the audience and his fans and a little more time. One day, he’s going to rule Bollywood and will be among the top gems in the film industry.
