In the 1990’s a new pair in the Bollywood industry created a sensation. The duo was the top most favourite in the list of the audiences. Sooraj Barjatya’s film Maine Pyar Kiya was released in 1989 and the jodi of Bhagyashree and Salman Khan was super hit. The public gave them all the love and appreciation because of their acting skills and on screen chemistry. The film is considered to be one of the most iconic and loved films of Salman Khan. Even this movie is one of my favourites too. After this movie, Bhagyashree became an overnight star and won the hearts of millions of people.

But she surprised everyone when she left Bollywood and married to businessman turned actor/producer, Himalaya Dasani. Her role of shy girl opposite Salman is still remembered by the people. There is a funny incident which took place on the sets of the film involving her husband and Salman Khan. She revealed she had warned Salman Khan to maintain distance from her to avoid link up rumours. Her husband, Himalaya was possessive and he wasn’t comfortable and cool about her romancing other men on screen. Salman Khan was the first person to knew about her relationship with Himalaya.
