In 2014, Jackie Chan was the Narcotics Control Ambassador for the Chinese police. At that time, China police confirmed that they found more than 3.5 ounces of marijuana in Jackie Chan’s son, Jaycee’s mansion. The actor tested positive for consuming it and was arrested alongside Kai Ko and Mr. Song who were alleged for circulated the prohibited substance uncovered at the property.

During the investigation, it was found that not only Jaycee takes the drugs but many other celebrities visited his apartment to consume the same.

Due to Jackie Chan’s designation, he was the face of anti-drug movements and frequently spoke in favor of communist power. Therefore, after this incident, Jackie apologized to the nation and shared his emotions saying that he was very ashamed of his son’s action. He even wrote on social media that he is very angry with his son’s actions and is ashamed of him.

Jaycee was jailed for six months for the drug case. During his declaration, he promised the nation to set an example of an ideal person after completing his punishment.

When Jaycee returned after completing of his punishment he explained that he is guilty of his past acts and has realized his mistake for which he wants to apologize and promised not to do such wrong thing ever again in the future.
