When Katrina Kaif Spoke About Her Breakup With Ranbir Kapoor & Called It A "Blessing"

Katrina Kaif is a British actress who is one of the highest-paid actresses in India and appears in Hindi-language movies. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor is a well-known Bollywood actor known for her excellent acting and good looks. Both artists were dating each other for the past for 4 long years before they broke up in 2016.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif fell in love while filming for their movie Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani. The two made a lot of effort to make their relationship work, but they were unsuccessful. News of their breakup flashed just after they made their relationship public and wedding rumours began to circulate. The two have since moved on with Katrina Kaif savouring her single status and Ranbir Kapoor enjoying a committed relationship with actress Alia Bhatt.

In an interview with Vogue, Katrina Kaif discussed splitting from Ranbir Kapoor. I now see it (the breakup) as a blessing because I was able to recognize my habits, thought processes, and things that I had been so certain of my entire life, the woman said. I could observe them from a completely different angle.

According to reports, Katrina Kaif's breakup with Ranbir helped her focus on herself, and it was during this time that she discovered her true self. "It's probably one of the first times in my life where I really had only myself to focus on," she said. When you concentrate on yourself, the first thing you notice is that you don't really know yourself. It's like a period of not knowing, of discomfort because you're seeing yourself in your raw form, without embellishments, and then accepting that you don't really know who you are."

Katrina Kaif had to struggle to come out, but she sees it as a learning experience. She stated in an interview with a portal, "I feel compelled to say this because there are young girls who may be listening to me. They might come across something useful. I may see a person and think, 'Oh, she's got everything', or 'Oh, she doesn't struggle as I do'. But guess what? You have no idea. Everyone is in pain. The most important thing to remember is to learn. Despite our fears and insecurities, we are all trying to work and achieve. You don't wake up one day and realize it's all gone. You must push through it."
