1. Akshay Kumar

          

Following Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi, Bollywood's first post-pandemic smash, Akshay Kumar began the year 2022 with Bachchhan Pandey, directed by Farhad Samji and starring Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi. Later, he appeared in Cuttputlli, Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, Samrat Prithviraj, and Cuttputlli. Although Cuttputlli had an OTT premiere, none of his theatre releases were economically successful.

2. Rakulpreet Singh

          

Attack, a movie by Lakshay Raj Anand with Jacqueline Fernandez and John Abraham, was Rakul Preet Singh's first release of the year. Her other theatrically released films included Thank God, Thank God, and Runway 34. Her movies, however, were all commercial flops.

3. Ayushmann Khurana

            

Ayushmann Khurrana, one of the most gifted actors of her generation, had three films come out in 2022. He appeared in the movies Anek, Doctor G, and An Action Hero, among others. Despite receiving positive reviews from critics, Ayushmann was unable to produce even one successful film this year.

 

4. Amitabh Bachchan

       

While Big B played a significant role in the blockbuster movie Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, his previous films, such as Jhund, Runway 34, and Goodbye, did poorly at the box office.

5. Jacqueline Fernandez            

In terms of her personal life, Jacqueline Fernandez gained notoriety this year for all the wrong reasons because of her association with fraudster Sukesh Chandrashekhar in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case. Sadly, she had a poor professional life as well. She has significant roles in Attack, Bachchan Pandey, and Ram Setu in 2022. These movies didn't get great reviews or do well at the box office. She is currently anticipating the release of Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde's roles in Rohit Shetty's Cirkus.
