Adah Sharma on the Overwhelming Response to The Kerala Story
Have you watched The Kerala Story? Well, it is a must watch film specially for girls. The movie is based on true event which had happened in Karela and has also become free in a few theatres for girls in different parts of the country. The film has Adah Sharma as the lead and she has got a lot of validation, appreciation and love for her performance in the film.
In a recent interview, the actress said, “Every film I do, I think that it will be my last because I don’t know if I will get another chance or if someone would show faith in me again. But I believe the audience always had bigger dreams for me. They would say that Adah should have been given this or that role… and now, I think all those dreams have come true. I am so lucky.”
The movie shows the story of three girls, 2 Hindu and 1 Christian and how they were exploited by the ISIS people and converted into Islam. The main character, Shalini had disclosed the entire trap of how innocent girls are brain washed and set against their religion and made believe in Islam through brutal statements and threats. The girls lose control over their mind and do as and what they are told as they also given some kind of medicine. As soon as they agree and convert into Islam they are sent to Israel where they exploited for sexual benefits.
Let me not disclose everything from the film and I would request you all to give it a watch as some truth need to be known by all and beware of the things around us and how we can be fooled.
When asked if Adah expected such an response for the film, she said that she didn't and she is thankful for it. She also said that she never believe that such a thing was coming for her as she is an outsider and had no connections in the industry. She also said that she is glad, so many people are watching the film and the hidden truth is revealed.
