Kriti Sanon will be starring as the lead that is the role of Sita in Adipurush, with Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan. She said she is super proud of the film which is a big screen adaption of the Ramayana. 

“It is a film that the entire team is extremely proud of. I hope and pray that people will also equally be proud of it. It is something that is so important to all of us. It is just not a film for us, it is way more than that. I hope it gets its due. I have a feeling it will,” she said.

There has been controversies over the character of Ravana and how he is made look in the film so the makers took a step back, made some corrections and changed the released date from 12 Jan 23 to 16 June 23. Have you watched the teaser? Are you excited for the film?
