Ponniyin Selvan 2, the crowning achievement of Mani Ratnam, has opened in theaters and is being greeted with overwhelmingly positive reviews. The star-studded cast came together as well to watch their movie on a big screen. At the theater to watch PS 2, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi, and Vikram were accompanied by their partners.
As the 'Cholas' gathered to watch Ponniyin Selvan 2 in theatres, the movie's creators posted pictures on Twitter. Ponniyin Selvan 2 was watched on big screens by Jayam Ravi and his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her husband Abhishek Bachchan, as well as their daughter Aradhaya, Trisha Krishnan, Chiyaan Vikram, and Vikram Prabhu. Karthi isn't there in the photographs, though. They also smiled broadly while posing for photographs.
The camaraderie of the Ponniyin Selvan team
The team viewed Ponniyin Selvan 1 together when it was published the year before as well. When their photos first went viral, they continued the practice. During the conclusion of Ponniyin Selvan's two promotions, the team grew incredibly close and said their final goodbyes in an emotional manner. As they had to permanently put an end to Ponniyin Selvan, Jayam Ravi and Karthi began to cry.
Vikram recently talked about his relationship with Aishwarya and claimed that he is also close with Aaradhya, the wife of Aishwarya's husband Abhishek Bachchan. And of course, Mr. Bachchan (Amitabh Bachchan), it's the good rapport I have with them, he added. Work has been discussed, but otherwise, whenever we have free time, we chill.
Actress Sobhita Dhulipala posted a few images from the PS 2 set as she took a trip down memory lane. She shared cute photos of herself dressed as Vaanathi from the final day of PS1 and PS2 filming. PS 2, which has a fantastic cast, is an adaptation of the same-titled famous novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy. Other supporting actors in this project include Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Lal, Kishore, Ashwin Kakumanu, and Aishwarya Lekshmi. The music was composed by AR Rahman.
