Speaking candidly, Akshay Kumar describes how he had a severe injury during filming a sequence for Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi and lifted The Undertaker. In preparation for the release of their next movie, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar are doing everything in their power to make the movie a success.
They consequently made an appearance on The Ranveer Show, the podcast hosted by YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia. Akshay remembered, among other things, how he broke his back in Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996) after lifting The Undertaker. Speaking about the movie, Akshay said, "Mujhe bhi yaad hai aur meri peeth ko bhi yaad hai. Toot gayi thi usko uthaya tha (My back and I both remember the encounter quite clearly). I lifted The Undertaker, and I broke my back. I became upset and lifted him. We continued, and I said, "Okay, utha loonga" (I will lift him), as he weighed around 425 pounds or such.
Akshay said, "Kar toh liya, sab kuch ho gaya," despite the fact that the stunt had a negative impact on his body. Teens don't care; they're just "khadak" people. After that, I had a disc slip. My back finally gave out, but everything else worked out in the end. I found comfort in hydro-therapy, a treatment that entailed working out and running in the water, after suffering a slipped disc. It made a big difference in his health. "A hilarious note to mark 25 years to the release of #KhiladiyonKaKhiladi tomorrow!" was what Akshay shared on X, formerly Twitter, in 2021, the year the film turned 25.
After writing his piece, Akshay Kumar included a little trivia. He added, "Fun fact though: The Undertaker in the movie was portrayed by wrestler Brian Lee." The genuine Undertaker, Mark Calaway, responded to the post with the remark, "Ha! When are you prepared for a REAL rematch? Tell me. "Let me check on my insurance, and get back, bro," responded Akshay in response. In Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, it was wrestler Brian Lee—not the real Undertaker, Mark William Calaway—who squared off against Akshay. This action-packed film, which stars Rekha and Raveena Tandon, is still regarded as a high point in Akshay's remarkable career.
Fans are awaiting the couple's on-screen chemistry with great anticipation as Bade Miyan Chote Miyan approaches. The film, which is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and will be released in theatres on April 10, has already created a lot of anticipation thanks to its exciting action scenes and stellar cast.
