Amitabh Bachchan's Shakti To Be Remade

The adaptation rights of 1982 film 'SHAKTI' starring AMITABH BACHCHAN and DILIP KUMAR in leading role has been acquired by RAHUL and JHAMU SUGHAND and they have signed SHREE NARAYAN SINGH to direct its Hindi remake.
The producers have brought ANJUM RAJABALI (Rajneeti) and SAUMYA JOSHI (102 Not Out) on board as well to co-wrote the adaptation with SHREE NARAYAN SINGH and the trio has been working on its script for past 2 years. However, they havent locked the final draft yet and the film is said to been pushed away due to prior committments of writers but they are still working on it and is expected to lock it by next year.
