Anil Kapoor Reveals He Was Hesitant to Play Priyanka Chopra’s Father in ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ for This Reason

Anil Kapoor received positive reviews for his role in ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. But he recently revealed that initially, he was quite hesitant to play the role of Priyanka’s father in the film.

Anil Kapoor told a new portal that he has been quite brave from the beginning of his career and played an older character in ‘Lamhe’. However, playing Priyanka’s father was awkward for him because they were earlier supposed to do films where he was romantically paired with her.

Anil added that it was his son Harshvardhan Kapoor who convinced him to take up the role. Harsh told him that he isn’t actually her father and that he is just playing a role.

Anil Kapoor will be next seen in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ along with Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. He is also a part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film ‘Animal’.
