On "Koffee With Karan," Karan Johar revealed his desire to remake "Sangam" with Ranveer, Deepika, and Ranbir.

Ranveer revealed that Deepika's ex-husband Ranbir was comfortable shooting a romantic comedy with him, and that Karan had initially suggested that the three of them remake "Sangam."
In a romantic triangle on screen, Ranveer Singh would like to feature Deepika Padukone, his wife, and her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. The actor revealed the startling revelation on the first-ever Koffee With Karan 8 episode. Ranveer, who also acknowledged that he was comfortable filming a romantic comedy with Deepika's ex-boyfriend, revealed that Karan had initially suggested that the three of them remake "Sangam." In case you missed it, "Sangam" told the story of two best friends who fell in love with the same girl.
The film made its premiere in 1964 and starred Raj Kapoor, Vyjayanthimala, and Rajendra Kumar in major roles. Under the direction of none other than Raj Kapoor, the film became a huge hit.
In the first Koffee With Karan 8 episode's rapid fire round, Karan Johar posed the following question to Ranveer Singh: "Which male actor would you not mind being cast as the third character in a love triangle featuring you and Deepika?"
Finally, Ranveer said, "Ranbir." "You wanted to make Sangam with the three of us, right?" he then disclosed. Karan answered, "Yeah." Then, when he decided not to carry out his plans, Ranveer pulled him. "You always brag, but you never deliver anything substantial." Sangam is still something Karan can make. "Affirm it?" In response to Karan's question, Deepika said, "Done."
Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh shared their first public appearance together in 2016. During a hilarious episode of Koffee With Karan that year, the stars sat together and gave viewers a taste of their bromance. Fans have been hoping that they might come together for a film one day. However, the wait has been lengthy.
Ranveer also revealed that he would like to work with Ranbir Kapoor again to recreate the now-famous Dola Re Dola performance from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, in addition to talking about his partnership with Ranbir on the Sangam remake. Despite some incredibly clever and outstanding responses from Ranveer, his wife Deepika Padukone ended up winning the coffee hamper.
