Arjun Rampal’s Sister Summoned By NCB: Who Is Next After Komal Rampal?
It is no secret that the Sushant Singh Rajput Case has inclined Narcotic Control Bureau’s (NCB) attention to the drug issue in the B-town. After questioning Arjun Rampal twice in a drug-related case, the NCB has shifted their target on Arjun Rampal’s sister, komal Rampal.
The NCB issued the summon after Komal Rampal seemed to avoid the questioning of the agency, citing her ill health. The Narcotics Control Bureau had mentioned that Komal Rampal did not willfully seek for another date to appear, which forced the investigation agency to summon the actor’s sister.
The NCB is interested to question Komal Rampal since Arjun Rampal reportedly said the officials that one of the two banned drugs found by NCB in his house, was for his sister.
Arjun Rampal has provided the agency with several things in his defence, the doctor prescription being one of them. After being questioned for six hours twice, the actor has submitted a prescription for the medicines, which are illegal or banned under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Now, the NCB is working on checking the authenticity of the prescription provided.
The famous betel nut seller of Mumbai, Muchhad Paanwala has been summoned by the anti-drugs agency, after his name got revealed during the questioning of Karan Sajnan. Karan Sajnan is a British national, who was arrested on Saturday with two others on grounds of importing marijuana and maintaining a supply chain of the same in Mumbai, as said by an official.
The NCB probe has succeeded in recovering over 200 kg of ganja, which includes imported strains like ‘OG Kush’ and curated marijuana, a part of them had been smuggled from the United States to India.
According to the officials, Karan Sajnani packed these strains of marijuana in the shape of cigarettes and supplied them to his clients in Mumbai and other states, including Bollywood celebrities. Rahila Furniturewala was found to be financing the business and has also been arrested.
