Item songs have been a main feature in Bollywood films. Here are some of the most played and famous item numbers of the past season.

1. 'Aira Gaira' – Kalank

Starring Kriti Sanon, the song is from the 2019 magnum opus of Karan Johar, Kalank. In this song, the choreography is done by Remo D’Souza. The music is given by Pritam, the lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the song is sung by Antara Mitra, Javed Ali and Tushar Joshi.

2. 'Mungda' – Total Dhamaal

This song starred Sonakshi Sinha and it was a remix of an old Bollywood song ‘Tu Mungla Mungla Main Good Ki Dali.' The old song was from the film Inkar and the music director for the song was Rajesh Roshan. It was picturized on Helen who was a popular ‘item song’ heroine of her time. The current song from Total Dhamaal was choreographed by Adil Shaikh. The singers of the remix were Jyotica Tangri, Shaan, and Subhro Ganguly.

3. 'Chamma Chamma' – Fraud Saiyyan

The original ‘Chamma Chamma’ starred Urmila Matondkar and was sung by Alka Yagnik, Shankar Mahadevan and Vinod Rathod.  In this remix, Elli Evrram danced in the film Fraud Saiyyan. The film starred Arshad Warsi and the song was sung by Neha Kakkar and the video is directed by Adil Shaikh and it was recreated by Tanishk Bagchi.

In the comedy-drama film Pataakha the song was sung by Rekha Bhardwaj and the music was given by Vishal Bhardwaj. Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, it featured Malaika Arora.

The song is sung by Aastha Gill, Sachin Sanghvi, Jigar Saraiya and Divya Kumar. The music was given by Sachin and Jigar whereas the lyrics were given by Vayu. The song was featured in the film Stree.

6. 'Bewafa Beauty' – Blackmail

This song, featuring Urmila Matondkar was from the Irrfan Khan film Blackmail. The song is the sung by Pawni Pandey. It was composed Amit Trivedi and the lyrics were given by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

7. 'Ek Do Teen' – Baaghi 2

'Ek Do Teen' was originally from the 1988 film Tezaab through which Madhuri Dixit became an instant success. The original was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and sung by Alka Yagnik. The song was recreated with Jacqueline Fernandez for the film Baaghi 2.

8. 'Dilbar' – Satyamev Jayate

The original song was featured in the 1999 film Sirf Tum and starred Sushmita Sen and Sanjay Kapoor. The original was composed by Nadeem Shravan and sung by Alka Yagnik. The remix was pictured on Nora Fatehi and sung by Neha Kakkar and the music was done by Tanishk Bagchi.
