Despite being fully aware that FWICE has issued total non-cooperation circular advising all members not to work with Pakistani singers, artists and technicians in any manner. While the entire world is fighting against Coronavirus, Pakistan is still busy killing our soldiers at the border.

Bollywood has been outright insensitive when it comes to the death of our soldiers at the border. They don’t think twice before working with Pakistani artists for commercial gains. This shows their shameful lack of nationalism and that the only thing important to them is money.

Pakistanis always say they don’t need Bollywood to become stars then why do the Pakistani actors accept the offers by Bollywood and work for India? Since Pakistan shows so much hatred towards our country they shouldn’t be allowed into our country. India has tried many times to shake hands with Pakistan and better our relations with them. But the other country has always betrayed and started chaos and disturbance.

Bollywood has never considered all these tricks played by Pakistan and worked with them. What is the use of working with them? India has abundance of artists. Why not give them the chance? It seems like Bollywood has some relation with Pakistan which is beyond work. Pakistani stars openly support their country, while Bollywood stars never speak a word against Pakistan.

Bollywood has had underworld links. Many actresses are rumoured to have been the girlfriends of underworld dons. The glamorous world of Bollywood has a pretty shady underbelly. Here are some instances when Bollywood and the underworld crossed paths.

  • Mamta Kulkarni and Vikram Goswami – he had cases of drug dealing and money laundering against him.
  • Monica Bedi and Abu Salem – he coerced a lot of directors into casting her in their movies. He is still behind the bars.
  • Gulshan Kumar’s brutal killing – members of the underworld pumped him full of bullets in one of the most brazen and high profile attacks against the Bollywood circuit.
  • Rakesh Roshan shooting – as he refused to share the profits of Kaho Na Pyaar Hai with don Ali Budesh, he was shot in the arm and chest when he was near his office.
  • Sanjay Dutt’s 1993 case – he was connected to some of the dons from the underworld.
  • Mika Singh sung at an event organised by Dawood Ibrahim in Karachi last year.

There are many such instances where the Bollywood has suffered due to having relations with the dons but still they don’t hesitate to work with Pakistan.

FWICE too recently passed a resolution barring producers from working with Pakistani artistes.

While many say art does not recognise any borders & that artistes must be allowed to move freely irrespective of the equation of our countries. But in Pakistan’s case it is well known that their army & ISI hates our country. They train terrorists with the sole purpose of harming us. They derive these funds from the tax payers of Pakistan & foreign aid. So while these artistes may have nothing against India & may be peace loving folks, every time a bollywood producer pays money to a Pakistani artiste, he/she has directly funded terrorism. When Indian audiences pay money to watch movies or songs which feature Pakistani artistes, they too have indirectly funded terrorism. Is that fair to our soldiers, who guard our borders at the cost of their lives? You decide!
