Boney Kapoor opens up on Daughter Janhvi Kapoor's Tamil Debut and urges not to spread False Rumors

Janhvi Kapoor is one of the aspiring actresses of the young generation in B-town. She is establishing her name in the industry with her acting skills. She gives back-to-back hit movies.

Janhvi Kapoor's most recent appearance was in the official Malayalam remake of the survival drama Helen, Mili. The Mathukutty Xavier-directed film, which was released in November of last year, was made by Boney Kapoor, the actor's father, under his production company Bayview Projects LLP.

According to recent rumors, Janhvi would star opposite Arya in Paiyaa 2 and make her Tamil film debut. Karthi and Tamannaah Bhatia played the main characters in the 2010 action-adventure movie Paiyaa, which was directed by N. Linguswamy. These rumors have since been discredited by Boney Kapoor, who called them "false rumors."

On Friday, February 3, he took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Dear Media Friends, This is to bring to your notice that Janhvi Kapoor has not committed to any Tamil Films at the moment, requesting not to spread false rumors."

For the uninitiated, Boney has two daughters—Janhvi and Khushi—from his second marriage to late actress Sridevi and two sons—Arjun and Anshula—from his first marriage to late television producer Mona Shouri Kapoor. Since his 2012 feature debut, Ishaqzaade, Arjun has been employed in the movie industry.

The Archies, a historical teenage romance drama directed by Zoya Akhtar and based on the same-named American comics, will mark Khushi's Bollywood debut. Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, and Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, both make their acting debuts in the movie.

In contrast, Boney himself will make his big-screen debut in the upcoming romance comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. The Holi holiday falls on March 8, and the Luv Ranjan-directed movie is scheduled to hit theatres then.
