The event is going to be star-studded and will be attended by famous Bollywood celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Rekha, Vivek Agnihotri, Rishabh Shetty, Ronit Roy, Shreyash Talpade, Anupam Kher, R.Balki and many other celebrities arrived for the award ceremony. Alia Bhatt is currently on maternity leave. At the award ceremony, she received the best actress award at the event. Talking about the same, she took her Instagram to handle and shared a selfie with the trophy. Alia got the Best Actress Award for her spectacular performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. She played the titular character in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial and got a lot of rave reviews for her fantastic portrayal of the real-life sex worker who turned into a mafia don. At the event, Alia was looking beautiful in the white embroidered saree with minimal jewellery and dewy makeup.

The actress was last seen in Brahmastra along with hubby Ranbir Kapoor. She will resume the shooting of her much-anticipated film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani after her maternity break. Directed by Karan Johar, the film stars Ranveer Singh as the male lead. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in prominent roles. It is expected to hit the big screens this year. After that, she will start the shooting of her upcoming Farhan Akhtar directorial movie, which will also star Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in the lead.
