Talking about the same, Deepika Padukone said that we have quite a long way to go when it comes to South Asian representation, and that’s what she is looking for. She said she is all done on behalf of us being the Indian doctor in the movie to an Indian taxi driver in a movie. She wants to be Wonder Woman, She wants to be Bat Woman, and there’s no reason when she says I. There’s no reason why she wants us to be Barbie. She further added that the choice or the decision to do these kinds of movies is an international decision to say bring me, bring something that is worth our talent, time, and energy.
