Dil Bechara is the remake of John Green’s ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ and brings together Sushant with newcomer Sanjana Sanghi in a tale of hope, love and loss. Watching the trailer wasn’t easy since it talks so much about living life with a splash of undying hope.
The movie is not a regular love story of a boy and girl falling in love and living happily ever after. The trailer, which is less than 3 minutes, sets the tone for a beautiful journey of two characters in love with each other with the idea of forever. Cancer is playing the villain for the movie. Sanjana’s innocent look, Sushant’s smile, and their adorable chemistry make the trailer a perfect getaway for the film.
The two fall in love while bonding over movies and music. While Sushant’s cancer is in remission, Sanjana tries to distance her from himself so as not to hurt him. They then go on an adventure to Paris, which cements their bond further.
The trailer was indeed amazing and the first to hit one million views on YouTube. The movie will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24. The platform has made it available for free as a tribute to SSR who died on June 14, 2020.
