Drishyam 3: On Cards? Producer Blows The Gaff! 

The Mohanlal starrer Drishyam 2 which released last week on a OTT platform was the much awaited sequel to the blockbuster not only for the Mallu audience, but to all the Drishyam Lovers. The movie received positive reviews from the audience. And the suspense thriller is also on cards for the Hindi and Telugu remake of the same.


The Sequel for a masterpiece like Drishyam which changed the schematics of the cinema would always be a tough job for the director.

All credits to Jeethu Joseph because, Where do you take Georgekutty 6 years down the line? In this regard Jeethu pulled it off very well! And established Georgekutty as not only a guy who wants to produce cinema but at the same time vigilant.

Drishyam 2 has ended on a good note, but is it the end of the Drishyam series? No says the producer Antony Perumbavur and confirmed there would be part 3. The producer in an interview with Manorama opened up about the future plans.

He said,

“I can say that Drishyam 3 is in Jeethu’s mind. I understood from his conversations that he is contemplating it. I really hope that it happens. In fact, Mohanlal and Jeethu have been speaking about it. All of us wish for Drishyam 3”.

The producer also added that the movie would be remade into many other languages. And he was quite disappointed that the movie didn’t have a theatrical view due to the unprecedented situation. So, they decided to go for an OTT release.
