Dunki Box Office Collection Day 11!!
Day 11 box office receipts for Dunki: The Shah Rukh Khan movie broke through the single-digit slump and saw a spike on Sunday, bringing in Rs 12 crore.
Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, has been doing well at the box office. The film's distributors released the most recent global box office figures. Dunki has already made over ₹400 crore in global revenue. On December 21, the movie, which starred Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) and Taapsee Pannu in the key roles, was released in theatres.
After delivering two enormously successful blockbusters, Jawan and Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan captivated audiences with his much awaited third film, Dunki. The film had a poor start at the box office despite great anticipation because of the audience's lacklustre response. The movie's box office receipts for the previous three days were in the single digits, but on Sunday—possibly due in part to the New Year's holiday—there was a noticeable uptick, earning Rs 12 crore. According to a report, this has increased the movie's overall domestic receipts to Rs 188.22 crore.
Just over Rs 160 crore was made by Dunki in its first week of release. The weekend and the New Year vacation saw a significant 28 percent gain on Saturday, bringing in Rs 9 crore, despite a 14% fall in revenues on Friday, when earnings were Rs 7 crore. On Sunday, the rising trend persisted.
Dunki was produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, which announced a worldwide box office receipt of Rs 361.30 crore.
Released the day before Prabhas's blockbuster Salaar, which took in Rs 344.67 crore in India, Dunki faced fierce competition. The movie is quickly approaching the Rs 550 crore milestone worldwide.
Dunki did not achieve the same level of box office success as Jawan and Pathaan, two of Shah Rukh Khan's other movies from the same year. With a worldwide total of more over Rs 1000 crore, Jawan remained the biggest grossing film of 2023, with Pathaan taking second place.
Even in the second week following their premieres, each of these films continuously brought in double digits at the box office, demonstrating their domination. Though it did not achieve the same level of success as its predecessors, Dunki nonetheless did rather well internationally. It is currently 2023's seventh-highest grosser.
