This photo of Dhoom 2 co-stars Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan has already gone viral. The actors, who earlier worked together in Yash Raj's prized Dhoom series, were seen reconnecting last night at the Jio Studios event in Mumbai. The actors looked handsome in suits as they posed for photographers. Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan co-starred in the second installment of the Dhoom series for the uninitiated. Hrithik Roshan played a con artist, and Abhishek Bachchan returned as ACP Jai Dixit.
Hrithik Roshan's cousins Ishaan and Pashmina Roshan were also in attendance. The Super 30 star also posted an Instagram photo from the celebration with his cousins and himself, titled "Best fam gang." His cousin Pashmina reshared the story on her Instagram profile as well, writing, "It's siblings day out."
On Monday night, Bollywood celebrities descended on the Jio World Convention Centre to attend a special event hosted by Jio Studios. Shahid Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Anil Kapoor were among those sighted at the celebration. Aditya Dhar and Angad Bedi, respectively, were Yami Gautam and Neha Dhupia's plus ones. Kriti arrived with her sister Nupur Sanon, both of whom were lovely.
At the event, Jio Studios, the production company, announced its future slate of online series and features. To provide this gift to their audience, Jio Studios has teamed with talents such as Raj Kumar Hirani, Sooraj Barjatya, Dinesh Vijan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Aditya Dhar, Prakash Jha, Amar Kaushik, and Laxman Utekar. The production companies promise projects including both fresh and established filmmakers and actors.
Hrithik Roshan will next be seen in Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand and starring Deepika Padukone.
