Farhan Akhtar Shared His Feelings On Replacing Shah Rukh Khan With Ranveer Singh In Don 3!!

Farhan Akhtar recently grabbed social media by storm when he unveiled the first look at his forthcoming flick Don 3. The project, which has been in the works for a long time, has kept fans on their toes with frequent updates. While many praised Ranveer Singh's new Don appearance, others chastised the actor and director for replacing Shah Rukh Khan as the lead actor. Fans reacted angrily as Farhan released a trailer for Don 3 soon after.

Previously, the actor-filmmaker said that it was SRK's intentional decision to leave the Don franchise to make room for new performers. It was also claimed that the celebrity was the one who recommended RS as the new Don's moniker.

In the most recent interview, Farhan Akhtar finally responded to trolls and addressed the abuse heaped on him and Ranveer Singh for Don 3. He added that he had a similar feeling when Shah Rukh Khan was announced as Amitabh Bachchan's replacement as Don. Farhan remarked, while praising the Gully Boy star, that the emotional process was the same.

"I'm just really looking forward to getting it going," Farhan Akhtar told in an interview. I mean, Ranveer Singh is incredible. He's perfect for the role. He's also, as you might expect, both delighted and anxious about the fact that you're stepping into some large shoes. But when Shah Rukh did it, everyone was like, "Oh my God, how can you replace Mr. Bachchan?" That's when everything occurred."

"It really is about an actor coming in and owning the part and making it really like, giving it their style and their flair," he continued. And he possesses it in plenty. So he'll do an excellent job. I believe it is now more my job to ensure that the screenplay and picture turn out the way I envision."

When questioned about the qualities of a good Don, Farhan Akhtar said, "self-confidence, flamboyance, and the ability to do anything that your mind is set on."

Farhan Akhtar also said that Don 3 would not begin filming until 2025, and that the cast is still being finalized.When asked why he revealed the picture so quickly, he explained that he wanted the fans to know that Ranveer Singh will play the new Don. It is unknown whether the filmmaker would proceed with his previously announced movie, Jee Le Zara, starring Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, and Priyanka Chopra, in the meanwhile.
