‘Fukrey 3’ Ending Explained: Did Hunny & Choocha Defeat Dhingra?

"Fukrey 3," a Hindi-language comedy film directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment, hit theaters on September 28, 2023.

In Fukrey 3, Bholi Punjaban aims to lead Delhi's Water Resources Department, backed by the water mafia lord Dhingra. To win the election, she enlists the help of Hunny, Choocha, Lali, and Panditji. Choocha unintentionally outshines Bholi during public appearances, making him a crowd favorite. Seeing an opportunity, Hunny propels Choocha to become Bholi's election rival, sparking a hilarious battle of stupidity and wits between the "fukras."

Bholi Punjaban outsmarts Hunny, Choocha, Lali, and Panditji when Choocha unintentionally reveals their plan for Choocha's surprise candidacy. As a result, Bholi's bodyguards join forces with the "fukras" to take the lead. With no funds for the campaign, the bodyguards suggest the "fukras" travel to South Africa to find diamonds using Choocha's supposed "Deja-chu" powers. The plan involves sharing the diamond profits among the "fukras," Bholi's bodyguards, and their relatives, Shinda and Prakash.

In South Africa, the "fukras" spend ten days searching for diamonds, only to find nothing. They initially blame Choocha's "Deja-chu," but soon realize they've been deceived by Bholi Punjaban. Her bodyguards didn't betray her; instead, they misled the "fukras" to distract them from the election. Realizing the wasted time, the "fukras" hurry back to Delhi to restart their campaign and regain Choocha's popularity before it's too late.

In the finale of Fukrey 3, the people unite, breaking through the walls surrounding Dhingra's water kingdom to reclaim their rightful water. They overthrow Dhingra, liberating the "fukras." Despite his mother's objections, Hunny marries Bholi officially. The group then travels to a fuel research center in Bangalore to test a unique mixture of sweat, water, and urine. However, when Hunny ignites the mixture, it fails. They discover that during the flight, the diamond from Choocha's body was expelled through his excreta, rendering him unable to turn water and Hunny's sweat into fuel. The "fukras" are expelled from the institution, marking the end of their adventure.

Serving as the third installment of the Fukrey franchise and a sequel to Fukrey Returns (2017), the movie features an ensemble cast including Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Richa Chadha, and Pankaj Tripathi. Notably, the film achieved blockbuster status following its theatrical release.
