Guess Who: Studio Approaches Box Office Darling For Satire Franchise

This studio has approached the current box office darling to star in the next installment of their satire franchise. Can you guess the celebs Mumbai Mirror is talking about?

Mumbai Mirror has published a blind item about a studio approaching the current box office darling for a satire franchise.

We wonder why this A-list star refused the next installment of this satire franchise. It would have been a safe bet. Especially considering his father is well versed with the key ingredients which made the franchise a hit among the audiences. He has been going through a rough patch off late. Maybe he wants to mix things up. He has starring in another remake, which will again by directed by his father. Mixing things up is not a bad idea, if you ask us. It is possible that the producer dropped the A-lister due to his bad form at the box office. The producer may have portrayed that the A-lister refused to save him some face.

We are not sure about the box office darling the blind item is hinting at. We could think of 3 names. But our favorite would be the biggest among the three. He will kill it in the tapori scenes, if you ask us!

Blind Item

FOR the past few months, this studio has been looking to cast an actor for their satire franchise. After an A-list actor declined, despite initially confirming, the production house tried offering it to a few other well-known names. However, none of them seemed to be too excited. Now, the movie’s makers are keen on getting a current box-office darling on board. But his date-book is full until next year and the studio is keen to begin the movie this year as the director has the script, screenplay and dialogue ready. Wonder if the actor will manage to make time for the film, or the producers will have to keep it on hold endlessly.

Our Guess

Studio: Nadiadwala & Grandson

Actor: Varun Dahwan

Franchise: Judwaa

Box Office Darling: Ranveer Singh or Ayushmann Khurana or Kartik Aaryan
