The superstar thanks to his infinite wisdom declined to star in the movie. The movie was then greenlit by another star, who was going through a rough patch in his career. The movie ended up becoming a huge hit & a cult favorite. The director then went on to do a sequel to the movie & has since directed 3 other blockbusters. Now the tables have turned. The superstar is on the verge of being blown into oblivion & badly needs a big hit to be back among the top 3. We do hope he takes up the project hemled by the maverick director.
