This top producer didn’t get the money he hoped for from a streaming giant

As per a tabloid, a big shot producer has been going around town saying that he has held back the release of several of his films as a mark of support for theatre owners. But he has a hidden motive. The tabloid claims that the producer did not get an offer he was hoping for from the online streamers. He now is left with no option but to take the risk of releasing his movie in the theatres.

The producer in question has a great track record of making hit films. His movies rarely flop. His last release – an action film suffered due to the pandemic. Had it not been for the pandemic, the movie would have grossed 30cr-40cr more. He did face the heat for allegedly banning a late actor from his studio. The death of an actress, his underworld links were raked up in the ensuing scandal. His involvement in dousing the fire over the MeToo movement by paying a 10cr bribe to shush an actress from speaking up against a superstar also found its way to the social media handles.
