This top producer has slashed her employee’s salaries by 50%-70% & is not paying her employees the remaining salary either.

We have time & again mentioned that Bollywood is a very high-risk game. While a blockbuster film can give 10X returns, a big flop can literally wipe out your net worth. If a major tabloid is to be believed, this top producer of TV shows & films is unable to pay her employees despite slashing their salaries by 50%-70%. She was facing financial troubles for quite some time, the COVID-19 outbreak has made the situation a lot worse. She apparently signs cheques only on Fridays. She has also been falling sick every Friday for several weeks!

Her company is listed at the stock exchange. It is rumored that she is looking for an investor for her OTT platform. By the looks of it, the OTT platform is bleeding money. While quite a few movies are in the pipeline, the COVID-19 outbreak meant a complete halt to shooting.

With the restrictions now being lifted, we hope Bollywood is able to come out of this mess. We hope this producer recovers from her financial issues & is able to pay her employee salaries soon.
