Here’s Why Priyanka Chopra has Stopped Using her Last Name in America and is Used to Being just PC in India
Currently, all eyes are on Priyanka as she promotes her web series, Citadel. She has been promoting it worldwide from London, India, Rome to back home. She talked about various aspects and parameters to talking about equal pay in the series, she revealed a lot of things. And in an interview, she revealed that she wants to go by her first name, Priyanka like Rekha or Cher, she gave examples.
She was asked about having such a common name and how it is used in Hollywood. To this, the actress said that she takes full advantage of the fact that she is the only Priyanka most American know. She also said that when she is in India, there are at least six Priyankas in the room. “So over the years, I have gotten used to being just PC in India. But when I go to America, I am the only one. I don’t even use my last name there anymore. I want to now become like Cher! Or Rekha! Just Priyanka! I love it."
She is all set to win hearts with her upcoming spy thriller which will stream on Amazon Prime in April 2023. She will be making her Bollywood comeback with Jee Le Zaraa which also stars Alia and Katrina.
