In A Recent Interview Mouni Roy Talked About Facing Health Issues Before Signing Naagin!!
Mouni Roy, who won over millions of hearts with her performance in Naagin, talked about her health struggles before to signing the show in a recent interview. One of the most adored actors in the business, Mouni Roy, never ceases to astound us with her performances. The actor became well-known after starring in the popular fantasy television series Naagin, created by Ektaa Kapoor.
Mouni Roy recently made an appearance on Mashable India, where she discussed a variety of topics including her family, her life before being an actor, her career accomplishments, her plans for the future, and her personal life. The actress disclosed during this conversation how bad her health had been before she went on to her breakthrough series, Naagin.
Mouni Roy talked about her period before joining Naagin, saying, "I was in a moment when I thought my life was finished before Naagin began. It's not so depressing, gloomy, or grim. I was just so sick. After completing Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9, I was unable to stand upright due to scoliosis and total slipped degeneration in my L4–L5 vertebrae.
The actress said, "I had put on, I don't know how many kgs," in reference to the difficult period. I was taking about thirty pills a day and occasionally injections, so it wasn't good. In my spine, I had taken an epidural. It was an extremely awful moment. I received a call for Naagin during my about three months of bed rest."
Mouni said that she was hesitant to sign Naagin because she had previously worked on the mythological series Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev. "I had already done Mahadev by then so I was like maybe I shouldn't be doing another fantasy fiction," the woman stated when discussing it.
How Mouni Roy got Naagin is revealed:
The actress from Brahmastra went on, "It's still fresh in my memory that Varun called from Balaji. 'You come and meet, you meet the staff, you meet ma'am and see,' he continued. I was astounded by Ma'am's narration when I first met her. She had a great deal of enthusiasm for her project."
Mouni Roy went on, "I attended to the meeting because I had already received my brief. I had asked to meet with Ektaa ma'am so I could sort of decide whether or not to do it. I realized within ten minutes that I truly wanted to do it." With thanks to Ektaa Kapoor, Mouni stated, "It was meant to be a limited series." In the first season, it was meant to last three months, but it ended up lasting ten. They completed seven seasons so far, with an additional 11 months in the second season. I consider this show to be really fortunate as it has given so much to everyone, and I will always be appreciative to Ektaa Ma'am for Naagin."
Naagin, which starred opposite Arjun Bijlani, was a hugely popular fantasy television series. From 2015 to 2016, Mouni and Arjun starred in the first season of Naagin. as July 2023, the sixth season of Naagin, which featured Tejasswi Prakash as the title role, came to an end.
Since making her television debut in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, starring Ekta Kapoor, Mouni Roy has gone a long way. Following her role in Naagin, she rose to fame.
