Is Sushant Really Dating Rhea?

After breaking up with Kriti Sanon, Sushant has recently been linked to Sara Ali Khan. Is it true or is it just another PR gimmick? Read this article for our opinion!

Everyone knows what a talented actor Sushant is & he often finds himself in the limelight but not always for the right reason.

He features in the pages of tabloids and gossip columns of entertainment websites more for his closeness with his co-stars. He has done a very few movies in the six years of his career as compared to his contemporaries. And most of the movies he has done didn't do well commercially. But he has lived up to his playboy image to grab some attention.

Sushant kick started his Bollywood career in 2013’s Kai Po Che!. Sushant was already a household name by then thanks to his successful television stint. He starred in the Zee mega serial Pavitra Rishta as the male lead, Manav. There he met the show's female lead, Ankita Lokhande and fell in love. The relationship was an added advantage to their on screen chemistry. They even moved in together. But the couple called an end to their ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and Sushant reportedly started dating Kriti Sanon with whom he was filming Raabta. The air was rife with speculations about their affair but neither of them commented or admitted in seeing each other. Purportedly, Sushant was already seeing Kriti before the breakup with Ankita. The duo were also spotted often by the paparazzi going out for dinner or movies. The Sushant-Kriti fling lasted for a while and the duo even featured in some ad videos together. But they soon parted ways. After that, Sushant started working on his film, Kedarnath, with newcomer and Saif Ali Khan's daughter, Sara Ali Khan. Reports say that it was just a casual fling and nothing serious and was not meant to last long.

Now comes the rumours of him dating the Sonali Cable actress, Rhea Chakraborty. The thing is that all his previous relationships, with the exception of Ankita were short termed and with the co stars of his upcoming films. The relationships lasted only long enough till the movie releases. So can it be that this new relationship with Rhea is actually a part of PR gimmick to arouse the hype over an upcoming film? Though Rhea and Sushant are not known to have signed a film together, it may be a possibility that this is a part of the promotional buzz. Sushant also has a reputation of being a little too close and over friendly with his female co stars. There were murmurs of his Kizzie Aur Manny co-star Sanjana Sanghi having an issue with him getting too close to her.

Well, Sushant has not had a hit in the recent times apart from Kedarnath. Sonchiriya which released earlier this year, got mixed reviews from critics and flopped at the box office. We wonder whether a relationship will help him revive his career. Although one must admit that he is a talented actor, with a lot of potential. We hope the affair rumors with Rhea are true & help him get some stability back to his life.
