Kadhal Desam Fame Abbas: Reveals Why He Left India?

A film has no boundaries in a virtually developing age. Today there are a plethora of options available to watch movies. Popcorn and movies go hand in hand, so one can enjoy a movie at multiplex with subtitles. Or one can even watch movies through the online streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.

The boundaries of stardom have already breached, Thaalivar enjoys stardom outside Tamil Nadu, likewise Salman Khan enjoys stardom outside Bollywood.

While not to forget the 1990s Tamil stars have a seperate fanbase, stars like Abbas, Madhavan and Aravind Swamy were loved through their dubbed movies in various languages.

The movies like Roja, Bombay, Kadhal Desam, AlaiPayuthey and Minnale will always be cherished and remembered.

It is a known fact that the Loyola College lover boy Abbas has suddenly disappeared. After a long time, he was seen in an interview with behindwoods and shared various things.

Firstly, Abbas spoke about his entry into Tamil cinema and the audition he went through for Kadhal Desam. He said, I couldn’t even speak proper Tamil, I gave the audition and they asked me to sign a contract.

After the film hit the screens, there was no looking back for Abbas, as chances poured on him and he became the most wanted heartthrob.

The actor then disclosed why he left India, he feels India lacks freedom and it is struck in a materialistic world. So, he chose to live in New Zealand where he feels he has got freedom to do work of his choice. The Minnale actor also revealed, he worked as an employee in a petrol bunk, construction field and a motorcycle mechanic after going to Newzealand.

Abbas stated that his primary focus is to do public speaking and explain teenager’s who are struggling with suicidal thoughts.

“I myself had suicidal thoughts. And I changed my life. So, I want to show them that they can also do it. Maybe, if I can save at least one person, that is more meaningful and purposeful for me other than doing all these films for so many years” Abbas said.
