The new pan India movie is a science fiction action film which is directed by Nag Ashwin and it is based on the Hindu legend of Kalki, the last incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The movie was released on June 27, 2024 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
Director Nag Ashwin, amalgamates elements from Mahabharat with science fiction. Esteemed cast ensambles in the movie like Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. Ashwin’s narrative hinted at the sequel with a mid-credit sequence and cliffhanger finale.
Ending Explained (Spoiler Alerts)
Commander Manas is indicted Sumathi in Kalki 2898 AD seeking to collect serum for Supreme Yaskin from her body. In the ad interim, Bhairava requests Sumathi to turn her over to the Complex in return for units. Sumathi was sent to Shambala by Ashwatthama and his forces, but when Bhairava finds out their hiding place he alerts the Complex.
A crucial clash between Ashwatthama and Bhairava arises in the last half of the movie, they are the two strongest forces which disapprove of submitting. When Commander Manas and his army reach one's destination in Shambala, their forces participate in yet another parallel battle. The moment the surrounding areas of Ashwatthama's stick on the steps, Bhairava gets hit and loses his consciousness. But the threat doesn't end here, when Commander Manas comes in a flying car and takes away Sumathi prisonner. Preventing Ashwatthama from engaging in combat he imprisons him. As Ashwatthama's stick begins to light this goes on, and suddenly Bhairava takes it away and uses it to murder Commander Manas, helping Sumathi to escape. The scene where Ashwatthama gets sad, a flashback was shown from the Mahabharata where Bhairava is Karna. Previously, Raya is enlightened by Ashwatthama that Karna is the owner of that stick.
Bhairava regresses to his previous self when the stick is dropped. He takes away Sumathi as hostage and with the help of Bujji gets away Shambala. Ashwatthama tries to stop Bhairav, but seeing Ashwatthama Bhairava super speed his car throws him off balannce and run away. The ending of the movie is a huge twist. Audiences are eagerly waiting to know Sumathi's future and if Ashwatthama will be able to protect her.
Kalki 2898 AD starrring superstar like Kamal Haasan, Pabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan. And the movie is getting lots of praise from its audience.
